Edible Atom-Marshmallow Model

In this activity, students will put their knowledge of an atom to the test! They will create a model of an atom by using different color marshmallows. Students will need to explain what each part does within the atom.

-Different colored mini marshmallows
-White colored pencils
-Black paper
-Glue sticks

Directions

We have not yet tried this activity! It is something we will be trying in the 2016-2017 school year. We encourage you to try it out and let us know how it went and what you would change!
